Trap and Field's Around the ATA article from the Atlantic Provinces ATA Delegate

Entry: August 2020

August, 2020

Hello from the Atlantic Provinces.

The Petitcodiac Sportsman’s Club in New Brunswick concluded their winter league on June 10. Congratulations to Singles Champion Darren Pain and Doubles Champion Terry LeBlanc. Terry, the Nova Scotia representative for the Atlantic Provinces Provincial Association, also won the combined High Overall title. Complete league results are available on shootatlantic.com.

Congratulations also goes out to New Brunswick’s Dan Boudreau who recorded his first 25 straight on May 30 during the Petitcodiac Sportsman’s Club winter league. Dan has been an ATA member for 3 years and tells me that he has been chasing that elusive 25 straight for some time now. Dan shot another perfect round on the last day of the Petitcodiac’s winter league to help him win B Class Singles by one target.

COVID-19 restrictions continue to ease in the Atlantic Provinces. Unfortunately, with the regulations in place on June 23, the 2020 Atlantic Provinces ATA Provincial Shoot scheduled for September 3 - 6 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia at the Highland Gun Club, would not be possible. Organizers are considering all options to ensure this year’s shoot goes ahead. Stay tuned to shootatlantic.com for the latest updates.
